About

I’m a writer, wife, and mama. I’m a Washington State University alum, an avid reader, a hiker and a yogi, a country music fan, and shopper of Target, Michaels, and any bookstore I happen upon. I love baking, the ocean, pedicures, warm weather, Instagram, Dirty Dancing and Pitch Perfect and Walk the Line and The Princess Bride, Jelly Bellies, paper planning, and Friday Night Lights.

My debut young adult novel, Kissing Max Holden, will be published by Swoon Reads/Macmillan August 1, 2017, followed by The Impossibility of Us in 2018. I am represented by Victoria Marini of the Irene Goodman Agency.

  1. I just read that you save pics of everything – I do that too… it gets cumbersome, doesn’t it?? So I just requested an invite to Pinterest (it’s still in beta so you have to be “invited”) – have you tried it??

  2. Katy, I was wondering if you were interested in having a young adult author visit your blog for one day in September. I can give you more details if you send me an email.
