{Pushing the Limits… Man. This book!}
Because one word isn’t enough: This cutie starts KINDERGARTEN today. My mommy heart is sort of broken (she’s filled my days for five solid years!), yet I’m thrilled for her too. I can’t wait to see what she learns and who she befriends.Β I can’t wait to watch her grow and change and mature over the coming year.
Also, the extra writing time can’t hurt me. π
What’s changing in your world this week?
It looks like you had a fantastic week! That picture of your kiddo eating ice cream is priceless π
Pushing the limits is indeed super steamy, she knows how to write sexy scene…
And Awwww on your cutie starting Kindergarten! I’m sure she’ll come back with LOTS of stories to tell you π
She did have lots of stories, Elodie. Thank goodness she had a great day! And yes, that ice cream photo… She can’t help herself. She comes by her passion of treats honestly. π
Wonderful pics!
I know exactly how you feel about yout daughter starting kindergarten. My son starts in a month, and I know I’ll be a mess. π
Aww! Well, I can tell you from experience that it’s not *quite* as awful as it seems. My girlie had a great day, so that makes me more excited about the whole thing than apprehensive. Good luck to your little guy!
If I got photobombed by someone who looks like that, I would take pictures every day…
And I’m not sure there’s enough ice cream on that spoon.
I am laughing! He does get away with a lot, Sophia. And yes, my girlie is quite passionate about her treats. π
Aww, I love these pictures, Katy! Looks like you and your family have SO much fun together – priceless π I think my oldest girlie definitely shares a love of ice cream with your daughter, and so excited for her big day today! Also, I can’t wait to read the results of your extra writing time!
Thanks, Temre! I’m excited to get into our routine so I can really get into my writing. I hope your girlie had a wonderful first day… Can’t wait to hear all about it!
Great pictures. π Hope your little kindergartener has a great first day. Enjoy that extra writing time!
Thanks, Rebecca! She did have a great day, thank goodness!
Happy first day of school π and LOL your husband’s face in the first photo is priceless!!!
He’s a nut, Rachel! Thanks for the well wishes… The first day of school went really well!
My heart feels your pain, sadness, excitement, hope… I hope she has an amazing first day and that Mom fares okay too! Also, pics are ADORABLE. And I cannot wait to read what results from that extra writing time!
Changes for me? Ugh. I kind of sort of half-started back to work today. Just one day this week. One day next week. But, man – NOT READY.
Oooh, big changes for you too, lady! Good thing you typed THE END this week — now you can definitely claim a productive summer. Hopefully you’ll have plenty of time for editing/revising over the next few weeks. I NEED to know the end of JD’s story!
Kindergarten is such an emotional step in so many ways. And that intensity picture- awesome!
Haha! Thanks, Janeal… She’s a nut!
I’m reading Pushing the Limits right now, too. π
Yay for your girlie! I hope she has a fabulous first day!
I have to go into my new classroom and start setting up in a bit. HUGE changes for me.
HUGE changes indeed! Good luck with the classroom set-up… I always liked getting my classroom ready for a new school year. Felt like a fresh start. Oh, and we’ll have to compare notes on PUSHING THE LIMITS when we’re both done. I only have about 100 pages to go. π
Ice cream deserves that sort of intensity.
I was just feeling nostalgic today because I came across some pictures of my brother from one of our other trips to the East Coast, and…he’s SO LITTLE. And then I realized he’ll never be that little again, and it made me sad. (There’s close to nine years between us, so he’ll always be a baby to me.)
No huge changes for me this week, although I’m hoping my employment status changes in the near future. I’m far too friendly with Craigslist these days.
Haha… Ice cream does, doesn’t it? π
Keeping my fingers crossed for you on the job front, Steph… Hopefully you land something perfect very soon (something that allows for plenty of writing time, of course!).
Love these photos! Adorable. Willy starts Kindergarten in a few weeks… he’s been at preschool for a few years, though, so it’s not a huge transition for us or him. (That being said, I am sure I will cry on day one, just like I did with his brother).
Yeah, kindergarten was a huge transition for us, even though my girlie has been in preschool the last two years. Why must they grow up so fast?!
